Artist Statement – These drawings are the result of an intuitive process of making marks without any preconceived  ideas about form or line. Charcoal and wet powdered graphite were applied by using a tree twig or directly with my hands on rice paper. By engaging with the ephemeral quality of the unintended drip or wrinkle in paper, I was free to accept the perfect imperfect.
